“Spirit Speaks - Are
You Listening” follows the remarkable spiritual journey of Valerie Croce Stiehl,
who knew from early childhood that she had a wise and true voice within that
spoke to her from realms beyond. Valerie outlines a life path every one of us
can take if we long for inner peace and fulfillment. Hers are words to live by,
road signs that can be followed readily no matter where you are on your path.
She tells of her early years as the suddenly single mother of five children;
years of deprivation as she worked and went to school and struggled to put food
on the table for her family; a later executive career in Manhattan; a
transforming Near Death Experience as a result of a devastating car crash; and a
decade living on an Indian reservation in South Dakota. Those experiences forged
a woman of towering strength, love and purpose - guided surely by Spirit. It has
been said of her by a spiritual teacher that she lives in a state of grace. This
book confirms the fact. "Enlightened, deeply spiritual, and most welcome,
'Spirit Speaks' fulfills the seeker's quest for truths both mundane and
ethereal.” Swami Bhimasen - Sivanda
Ashram, India. "Valerie shares with us
connectedness to the universe, not unlike Nicholas Black Elk, who, like her,
left behind a comfortable world to seek truth and beauty in the natural
spiritualism of Native American culture.” Don Wigal, Ph. D. “Experiences in
Faith” (1970).
Come and meet Valerie, ask questions
and enjoy a cordial reception in her honor. Valerie has been giving workshops at
Wainwright House for many years. She is a beloved and popular teacher.
She has been a spiritual facilitator for 40 years. A student of many of the
world’s religions and spiritual teachings, Valerie is highly clairvoyant, and
channels messages to groups and individuals. She believes we all receive
information from spirits, however, we do not recognize or know how to interpret
the information we receive.
Her book is a collaboration with Vera
Haldy-Regier and depicts Valerie's transformative spiritual
journey, her near-death experience, and the ten years she spent living with the
Lakota Sioux in South
Dakota. Books are available for sale and signing.
Valerie
will be giving two workshops, a retreat weekend, on May 5 and May
6. Overnight accommodations are available, but priced separately.
Please click here for information about “Who Am I? What is
My Spiritual Purpose?” on May 5. Please click here for
information on “Finding Balance and Healing in Our Imperfect

This is a remarkable
book. Over a period of time, Valerie Croce Stiehl related her life story and
experiences to Vera Haldy Regier. It is a story of enlightenment and experience
of how Valerie Croce Stiehl became aware of her spirituality and her ability to
listen to what, or rather who, she calls "Spirit". There follows a life of
giving, helping and nurturing people from all walks of life, intertwined with
her journey with native American Indians, together with her knowledge and
experience of many diverse religions of the world.
This is no self-help
book. It is far better than that because it relates the experiences of a
wonderful woman who experienced her enlightenment in so many ways and was able
to relate that to others.
Equally remarkable, is the sympathetic and
insightful way in which Vera Haldy Regier listened to Valerie and was able to
absorb what she had to relate and to put that to paper in such a readable and
easily understood manner. With her light touch, Vera encompasses and paints the
story Valerie has to relate in such a way that you hear Valerie's voice talking
to you from the page directly, almost as if Vera is a medium rather than a
writer.
Pages of wisdom follow pages of genuine spirituality, so that one
has to wonder in the end why one has not appreciated it oneself already. This
book could be the beginning of many journeys to spirituality for very many
people.
