About the Event
In the yoga tradition the koshas are the five sheaths of the self or being.
Beginning with the physical body, then moving to the energetic body, to the mental body, to the wisdom body, and finally to the bliss body. In this workshop we will explore these interwoven layers to uncover your truest self.
After an introductory discussion on the koshas we will move into a yin-inspired yoga practice. Hip and heart opening poses will be infused with breath work to enhance the vital flow of life force energy (prana). Meditation and journaling will further guide us into embodying a peaceful stillness. We will reflect on different ways we can move from a reactive state to a responsive state and how to incorporate these practices into your daily life.
Open to all levels.
