About the Event
This series is specifically designed for parents and their families! Mindfulness begins with learning to pause, listen deeply to ourselves, and to respond to each other with love and compassion. In Bringing Mindfulness Home, we will discover how to stay connected as a family in our increasingly distracted, chaotic and busy world. We will learn to slow down, take a breath, and develop a home mindfulness practice that works for adults and kids ages of all ages.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Julie is certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor. She has trained with David Nichtern at Kaia Yoga, Mindful Schools, the Institute for Mindful Leadership and Search Inside Yourself, a Google-born Mindfulness-Based Leadership program. As a student of positive psychology, Julie is drawn to the role of mindfulness in developing personal resilience, finding purpose and practicing compassion. She has delivered mindfulness trainings to corporate leadership teams, individuals, couples, and families and loves to watch the transformation that takes place as her students develop their practice.
