Service at Wainwright House

Bob Manheimer serves as Chairman of the Honorary Board of Trustees and Advisors at Wainwright House. Throughout seven particularly difficult years in the organization’s history, he held roles as Treasurer and President of the Wainwright’s Board of Trustees, overseeing daily operations. After completing his maximum term, Bob stepped down from the Board of Trustees on July 1, 2025.

 

Professional Background

His professional background is mainly in banking, culminating in his tenure as CEO of international operations for a prominent U.S. bank. In 1999, Bob acquired a business services company, which he managed for fifteen years before selling the company and retiring. Additionally, he has served as President of the Rye Rotary Club and remains the Treasurer of both the Club and its Foundation.

 

Personal Life

Bob and his wife Bonnie have called Rye home for forty-seven years. Their son and daughter-in-law, together with their three children, also reside in Rye. Their daughter and son-in-law, who grew up in Rye, now live in Sudbury, Massachusetts, along with their two children.
