About the Event
Wainwright House has been home to Healing Circles for more than 15 years, drawing on practices from many cultures and belief systems. This self-directed affinity group may include Reiki or other forms of energy healing, as Reiki practitioners may be present to support participants.
Each session begins with 20–30 minutes of silent meditation, sometimes accompanied by music. Names of people or beings in need of healing are then brought into the circle, and participants may choose to receive healing energy at the center of the circle — always with their permission. Sessions close with optional sharing and conversation, while silence is respected.
Leadership Update: Beginning in January, the circle will be led by longtime facilitator David Bernstein, with a new start time of 6:45 PM. We extend our gratitude to Mark Heminway for his care and presence, and we look forward to continuing this long-standing tradition.
