A FOOD PRACTICE TO ENJOY HOLIDAY FEASTING
The holidays are challenging when it comes to maintaining good health. Feasting is expected and going overboard easy, especially when encouraged by family and friends.
Stay the course, get through the holidays with a few simple tips that will take away the urges without compromising on fun and delicious.
Experience a food meditation, allowing you to get intimate with every bite, using the five senses—touch, sight, taste, smell, sound—and giving you the time to truly taste the sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy. In other words, a food meditation will teach you to eat until satisfied not full.
Holistic health and nutrition is about looking at food in a way that is nourishing physically, mentally and emotionally. It gives us the tools to address cravings and redress imbalances, necessary during the holidays while faced with supersized meals.
With a few tips, you will enjoy every morsel offered at the holiday table, sensibly.
