Learn simple strategies for living a productive, content, inclusive and peaceful life in this confusing time.  Through interactive hands on activities your child will walk away with the tools they need to be successful in school and at home.

Yoga/mindfulness/learning about the United Nations/voluteerism/peace table work and fun activities will be explored.

About the Instructor:

Truike Boekholt was born in a small rural village (Ospel) in the South of The Netherlands,

As an 18-year-old she moved to Amsterdam and that is where she graduated from the “ Amsterdam School of Arts”. After some work as a model she found herself traveling to India, Nepal, Russia, Spain, and the East Village in NYC where she met the father of her now 20 year old twins.

For the last 20 years, she has worked and enjoyed being a music specialist at the United Nations International School in NYC.

She has received numerous awards including two at the United Nations Headquarters for her volunteer work for “Children of the Ganges”.  She is CEO and Founder of the school for underprivileged children in Rishikesh, India

Currently she is a DEI coordinator and a short documentary was released that premiered at the WH recently.

Furthermore she has held 2 successful PeaceKeeper programs for pre-teens at the WH. Truike enjoys living on the temperamental Mamaroneck river.
