Learning How To Read Tarot Cards

Take your understanding of the cards to the next level. Many readers struggle to interpret the cards even after gaining some level of comfort with them individually. Elizabeth will focus on how to read cards in combination and how to use spreads. Teaching will occur via lecture as well as several demonstrative readings for participants chosen at random and on a volunteer basis. Ask questions and participate in this fun and conversational workshop. It is recommended to bring a notebook as well as a deck of cards to perform miniature readings with. This is a perfect follow up to Elizabeth’s Intro to Tarot workshop here at Wainwright House but is also appropriate for other interested students of Tarot with any level of experience.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Elizabeth is a yoga teacher, mala maker, and ritual practitioner living in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Her art and practice are inspired by her grandmothers who taught her craft and divination respectively at a young age. She grew up in a matriarichal family, a descendent of two yoga teachers (her maternal grandmother and great grandmother)— this life has been in her blood. Elizabeth has studied Tarot for years independently and has been offering readings to the public for over a decade. Her readings are heavily influenced with her understanding of astrology, yoga and buddhist philosophy. She is highly intuitive and empathic without losing her very strong backbone. Elizabeth teaches public classes in Manhattan and Brooklyn and offers private yoga as well as Tarot readings in person and online.
