About the Event
Meditation and Healing Circle to Launch the New Year This workshop is for those who feel called to launch into the New Year by standing strong from within. Often it is the case for the “Healers of the World” that we are in the position of giving to others (which is all good). However, by the end of the day, week, month and year, we ask ourselves, “Where am I in it all?” This inner voice comes from the "small i."
In this circle, Sarah will guide us in meditation and healing exercises. We will fully embrace ourselves, and dive deeply to the sacred place within. The place of the unmovable, unshakable, and unchangeable, “Big I and We.” When the "Big I and We" emerge from this inner journey we will sit together in sacred circle, supporting each other in our new direction for this year.
This is not another New Year's resolution; this workshop is an inner reorientation to ourselves and each other. Open to all levels of experience.
Weekend Schedule
Saturday
10 am - 12:30 pm
Morning Program Meditation and Self-Healing Foundations: Foundations in meditations from yogic traditions. This form of guided meditation will assist with rooting and stabilizing oneself within a meditation practice and daily life.
12:30 - 2 pm Lunch (Please bring your own Lunch)
2 - 6 pm
Afternoon Program Meditation and a Library Exercise: With the rooting meditations from the morning, the afternoon meditation exercises will assist with an internal recalibration, moving from, “I am doing and I am in charge” to a deeper sense of “Listening, Receiving, and Following.” The meditations will be followed by a guided practice in the Wainwright House library exploring reflections of our greater nature and what is in store for us for the year; allowing for surprises and unexpected movements into the unknown.
Sunday
10 am - 12:30 pm Morning Program Meditation and Self-Healing Foundations: Continuing with foundations in meditations from yogic traditions.
12:30 - 2 pm Lunch (Please bring your own Lunch)
2 - 6 pm Afternoon Program Meditation and Self-Healing Practices: Launching the New Year with new movements. For the “Healers of the World” it is easier to say yes and give to others. This afternoon meditation series will be a new movement of saying, “Yes” to ourselves in order to replenish our inner reserves.
