Mini Retreat: Reiki, Refloxology and Restorative Yoga

This mini retreat will feature gentle practices that create profound relaxation and release. Restorative yoga invites you to relax into poses supported by cushions and props. As you relax into each pose, you’ll be offered Reiki, a gentle, hands-on technique that channels energy through the subtle body and deepens relaxation, and reflexology in which pressure is applied to specific reflex points on the feet or hands to promote energy flow and relieve tension throughout the body. You will leave feeling calm and rejuvenated.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS:

Jody Raso, is a Social Worker, Reiki Master and Certified Yoga Instructor. She created this class after completing Restorative Yoga Teacher Training in 2011. The combination of both the healing practices of Restorative Yoga and Reiki allows the body and mind to quiet encouraging balance in the nervous system. Julia Reimer received her 200 hour reflexology training from Sue Raskin in 2012 and was nationally certified in 2013. She is also a Reiki Level II practitioner. In 2018 she earned her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification at The Shala in NYC where she teaches and assists in the mysore room under the guidance of Barbara Verrochi and Kristin Leigh. Julia believes in sharing the benefits she receives from her practice with others and is eternally grateful to her family and all her teachers for supporting and guiding her on this path.
