This workshop is about honoring, protecting and expanding your own energy field and energy levels, using ancient indigenous ways of the Americas. This is a hands-on workshop! After a brief introduction, we will experience ways of checking each other’s energy, our own energy field, how to expand and contract our energy field when needed, how to cleanse it through movement and herbs. Also, we learn how to re-energize our organs and our being using our connections with the Moon and the Sun, and our heart energy through our hands. This workshop is for anyone interested in the workings of energy, and no prior experience in energy work is necessary.

About the Instructor: 

Jacques Burgering, a native from the Netherlands, has been living in New York City since 1993. His professional modern dance career and yoga teacher trainings created a first level of physical and spiritual healing. It was a Vedic astrological reading that directed him towards the healing path. He is a certified Reiki master, and after working several years with shamans from the Andes (Kichwa/Qu’ero) and Central America (Toltec/Maya) he started an intuitive healing practice in New York City. He is very grateful to the healers and shamans of these traditions who generously shared their millennia old spiritual wisdom, most notably Sergio Magana, Irma Caceres, Susana Tapia Leon, Ray Christ, Jamee Curtice, Joanna Crespo and the many dedicated healers in Peru and Ecuador who also facilitated his personal healing and spiritual growth. Since 2017 he has been teaching ancient indigenous healing methods in the USA and Western Europe with the permission of his teacher Sergio Magana. Most recently he moved his yoga and healing practice to the Bay Area in California.
