About the Event
Who is Miss Lisa?
I am a Rye mom and an early childhood educator with over 25 years teaching experience.
I hold a BA Hons from the University of Wales and a postgraduate teaching certificate from Cardiff Metropolitan University. I taught at the Uk’s largest special school for over 20 years where I was a senior manger with responsibility for the sensory curriculum. I have worked with every age range and with all additional learning needs including complex needs, ASD, physical disabilities, behavior problems and communication difficulties.
I have taught at a Rye pre-school for the past 2 years, where I have honed my skills in play based learning and produced interesting and engaging themes that my classes have loved.
I have worked with over 50 children from Rye and the surrounding area and have references and testimonials that reflect the wonderful relationships I have established.
