About the Event
Escape the noise, put down the phone, and pick up a needle at Wainwright House for an evening of mindful hand sewing. Led by Kim Mulcahy of Sew Happy Studios, this gentle gathering invites you to explore “slow stitching” — a meditative, intuitive form of sewing that soothes the soul and fosters connection.
Our first project will be Scrappy Soul Bowls — soft, layered fabric vessels stitched together with love and intention. They’re beautiful, functional, and symbolic of making something meaningful from what we already have.
Bring fabric scraps (optional) or use materials provided. Whether you’re a beginner, a lifelong maker, or simply seeking a peaceful pause, you’ll leave feeling restored and inspired.
