About the Event
Teens are invited to a festive Gingerbread Cookie Decorating class with Culinary Instructor Melanie Underwood, part of the Gingerbread Showcase presented by Sotto Il Sole! With over 50,000 students taught — including 24 years at New York City’s Institute of Culinary Education — Melanie brings confidence, curiosity, and fun to every class. She has worked at renowned establishments such as The Four Seasons and The Plaza Hotel, and her work has been featured on The Food Network, NBC, ABC, and CNN.
Participants will decorate their own gingerbread cookies, learning creative techniques while enjoying the magic of the season. This hands-on experience is perfect for budding bakers looking to explore their skills in a fun, festive environment.
