The recent attacks against members of the Asian and Pacific islander (AAPI) community have shaken us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted by the acts of violence in Atlanta, Georgia this week, which took the lives of eight people, six of whom were Asian women. Beyond this horrific act, there has been a rise of violent and verbal attacks targeting the API community since the onset of the pandemic - from negative online rhetoric to violence in our Main Streets directed to Asian-owned businesses.
Racism of any kind can never be tolerated.
It is also important to help each other process such tragic events. WH is here to support the members of our community who are hurting either personally or for their friends and family.
Please feel free to visit the grounds, attend a mediation class, or inquire about additional support.
Together, we stand with you.
